Movie Review: Tanu Weds Manu Returns

Recommendation
Go for it, if you are up for senseless, madcap romantic comedies.

What to Expect?
Well, what do you expect from a sequel? A little more than the prequel, isnt it? If you go by the promos this promises to be a double Dhamaka of Kangana in full form.

Does it Deliver?
This is madcap, senseless bollywood romantic comedy at its best. If you leave logic at your home you will have a gala time. Actually more funnier than the prequel.

Performances
Kangana is in the form of her life. She does what she does always, carries the movies on her shoulders. Her getup and performance in the role of Kusum aka Dattu is breathtaking. R.Madhavan does his job well, that is, he does nothing. Deepak Dobriyal gets the most funny lines and delivers an excellent performance. He walks away with a huge share of screen space and impact.

Direction
Anand L Rai is successful in creating the same magic that he created with Tanu Weds Manu in February 2011. Music is good too and goes with the flow of the film. Editing is sharp and the sequences are not lengthy. Overall duration of the movie is just above 2 hours which makes it a decent watch.

Loose Ends?
Few funny sequences are completely irrational. So keep your brain at home.
